AXS Trade Finance Ltd was established in 2009 through the vision, drive, and passion of our founder, Stephen Jones. Our aim is to make trade finance more accessible, better understood and more widely used.

Based upon Stephen’s 44 years of experience in the trade finance industry, we design and deliver on-line virtual and physical classroom training courses on trade finance, receivables finance, supply chain finance and AML & sanctions compliance risk management to some of the largest banks and corporates globally, either independently or in partnership with highly reputable training organisations, such as Euromoney (https://www.euromoney.com/learning) and IFF Training (http://www.iff-training.com/).

We also handle letters of credit on behalf of exporters (from the initial structuring of the LC terms, preparation, and presentation of documents, arranging discount finance, through to receipt of payment).

Our trade finance expertise, practical advice, and hands-on support can be made available to companies on an ongoing basis through the life cycle of their international trade transactions, or accessed by financial institutions and corporates on a project basis using our consultancy services.

Stephen’s authoritative books on trade and receivables finance published by Palgrave Macmillan enjoy world-wide sales and global acclaim. His first volume, Trade and Receivables Finance: A Practical Guide to Risk Evaluation and Structuring’ is endorsed by the London Institute of Banking & Finance.

These books represent a unique set of practical ‘go to’ manuals for financiers, export development agencies, credit analysts, corporates, credit insurers and lawyers.
